Thank You for Coming

I thought of what I may write to explain how I have felt and where I have 'been' but I cannot find the expressions. I am convinced there should be a poet inside me somewhere, but I cannot string two thoughts together half the time... so I mostly end up rambling. As the great Mark Hollis said: "Before you play two notes, learn how to play one note. And don’t play one note unless you’ve got a reason to play it". So just let me say: I am grateful to my family, to my friends, and to my clients who have had to be so patient. It is good to be back. Thank you.

Sound on:

Like a harbour sings to the concrete

Like the highway rolls in your childhood dream

I'm a wild abandoned ray of heat

And I'm coming for you like a stampede

I'm coming for you like a driving rain

I'm coming for you like a storm unchained

I'm coming for you like a third refrain

In a heavy heart there's a sea of light

Secret until dead of night

Where the deeper meanings dare to fight

And I'm coming for you like a voice inside

I'm coming for you like a final round

I'm coming for you like a tempted hound

I'm coming for you like fury and sound

I'm coming for you like the world's on fire

I'm coming for you like a gospel choir

I'm coming for you and I will not tire

Like a wizards peril far from home

Like a quivered arrow all alone

I'm a new born and I'm growing old

And I'm coming for you with a heart of gold

I'm coming for you like a driving rain

I'm coming for you like a storm unchained

I'm coming for you like a final round

I'm coming for you like a tempted hound

I'm coming for you like the world's on fire

I'm coming for you like a gossip gospel choir

I'm coming for you
